Getting started
To begin, launch the .dmg file sent to you, and drag the Quash app to your applications folder. Once done, launch the Quash desktop app from your applications folder.
On launching the app, you will be asked to provide keychain access. Please enter your computer's password and click on "Always Allow" to avoid seeing the popup again.
Creating an account
To create a new account, you can either click on the Signup button and enter your name, email, and a new password. Or you can also click on the "Continue with Google" button to sign up directly using your Google account.
If you're signing up using email and password, you will get a verification email on your entered email address from Supabase Auth. Click on the "Confirm your mail" button there to complete the signup process. Once done, use the same credentials to login into the desktop app.
Creating a Workspace
After your account has been created, you will be prompted to create an Organisation. An organisation is a shared space for your team where you can add more members who can work together on the same tests. Enter the name of your company (e.g., Uber, Quash), and provide a short description of what the company does. The first person to create the organisation will automatically become the admin, and can invite other teammates as members.
Once done, you should land on the Quash test execution window. From here on, you can go ahead and connect your devices to start testing.
